Shortly after we got home from St. John, my friend Tina and her family came over for dinner. Tina, and her daughter Mati (in the photo below), kind of experienced the whole broken arm drama in real-time, as we were either texting each other, or talking to each other, or Mati and Anna were texting each other, while things were happening. On my end, I was merely handwringing; on Tina’s end, she was searching flights out of St. Thomas for us, just in case.

When they came over that night for dinner, Anna whipped up some slings on her sewing machine, for herself, Mati, and Mati’s sister, Hannah. While Carsten sat on the sofa, icing his arm, Mati sat next to him and kept him company, sling and all. CUTEST THING EVER.
